PLATES THAT TELL A STORY
One thing our set table absolutely needs to have is the Preloved Tableware collection by UNC Amsterdam. These plates, bowls and cups, covered in a beautiful coating, come from overstocks, thrift shops and sales. The stories they could tell!
The coating that gives each item a second life, contains bottom ash minerals. Bottom ash is a by-product from burning domestic waste. The coating is thus an ecological solution, turning each piece into a unique creation.

There’s no accounting for taste. That’s why it’s always a good idea to give your guests the choice to adapt what is being served, to their own liking. Pepper de luxe, Black salt, a salt rock to grate from yourself, a mixture of exotic scents and herbs: spread out small plates with different flavors and give everyone the chance to try out. Can someone pass the pepper, please?
A tip: definitely an interesting option when your crush is invited. These delicate ‘table guests’ will for sure help spice things up.
